Leaves: Smooth, narrow and erect.

Flowers: Small, white and have 5 greenish-white leaves.

Seeds: Soft silky hairs on one end.

   

Hemp Sesbania

Season: Summer Annual.

Stems: Green when small and woody when taller. 3 to 8 feet tall.

Leaves: Alternate and small.

Flowers: Yellow.

Seeds: Pods with small brown seeds.

   

Henbit

Season: Winter Annual

Stems: Square, 4 to 6 inches tall.

Leaves: Slightly hairy and rounded edges.

Flowers: Purple.

 

 

Honeyvine Milkweed

Season: Perennial.

Stems: Smooth vine without milky juice.

Leaves: Smooth and heart shaped.

Flowers: White and grow in clusters on stalks from the leaf axils.

Seeds: Pod brownish-green, smooth and pointed. Seed is brown, oval, flat and has silky white hairs.

Season: Perennial.

Stems: 1 to 2 feet tall.

Leaves: Wavy edges.

Flowers: Purple or white.

Seeds: Orange berries.

 

Horseweed

Season: Annual.

Stems: 1 to 6 feet tall and hairy.

Leaves: Narrow and hairy.

Flowers: Small with yellow centers.
