Cicada Killer
Cicada Killers are usually seen during the summer time. They look like giant yellow jackets but they aren't. They are actually considered beneficial because they hunt Cicada's. The following close ups were taken by our good friend Prof. Chuck Holliday, Department of Biology, Lafayette College, Easton, PA. http://www.lafayette.edu/~hollidac/CWHpage.html
Please do not use or sell these without our permission.

They are very curious and will buzz by very close to humans. If you leave them alone they'll leave you alone too.

They can be found throughout North America.

If they are
challenged they will protect themselves so don't challenge them. Just watch and
enjoy.
